Plant Painting Workshop at Niche Plant Shop

Project Details: I was commissioned by Niche Plant Shop, a local houseplant shop in Boston, to develop and facilitate a workshop on plant painting! I designed the workshop to be friendly to any skill level. I provided live demonstration and written instruction on basic plant painting techniques, and participants walked away with their very own painting. The workshop took place in store, where participants could choose a plant to paint. The workshop was a 2 hour time commitment, making it an approachable, low-stakes, fun environment for the novice or the advanced.
Since then, I’ve been commissioned by Cambridge Public Library, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge Art Association, and Wayfair to adapt the workshop to their spaces. I’ve taught the workshop both in person, indoors or outdoors, and virtually.
