These prints are based off a series of 28 skyscape paintings I made for each day of February 2023. All of the skies were in Massachusetts at various hours of the day.
Each painting shows a sunrise, sunset, and any time in between. Themes of change, endings, longing, grief and place are all explored in this sunrise, which felt particularly relevant at the time i begun painting these that year. I love how much depth and symbolism is represented in the skies while being so beautiful in whatever form it takes 🩵
