Nolinas are a native desert plant I saw a lot of on my recent trip to Joshua Tree National Park. When they mature, the plant produces a flower stalk, pictured here against a vivid pink background. The background fades into a deep terra cotta tone, inspired by the color of the rocks in Joshua Tree.
