Project Details: On Centre is a small busiiness based in Jamaica Plain, MA that sells home goods, gifts, and accessories. Most On Centre shoppers are based in and around Jamaica Plain and love their neighborhood. As such, the team and I collaborated on a map illustration to be sold at On Centre in various applications, celebrating the unique landmarks and culture of the neighborhood. I illustrated local, popular landmarks like Jamaica Pond and the Arnold Arboretum, included a nod to the On Centre shop location, and included the diverse community sprinkled throughout the artwork, providing a unique, hyper-local artwork for On Centre customers. The finished illustration is a 6 color design designed to adapt to various applications like totebags and art prints.
