Vinyl Mural Designs for Wonder Restaurants

Project details: Wonder is a growing restaurant chain in the US, offering a wide variety of cuisines made by industry leading chefs like Bobby Flay. From pizza to barbeque to pho – it’s all at Wonder.

I teamed up with Wonder to design murals for their locations in the Boston suburbs. The murals meet the goal of using Wonder’s playful branding to depict a wide array of food offerings and embed local, “if you know you know” nods to Boston: The Charles River, the Boston skyline, the MBTA, Make Way for Ducklings, and more, to connect with locals and bring surprise and delight to each location. The artwork is designed to be family-friendly and appeal to a wide audience. Because the same artwork is used for multiple locations, I created a modular design to help the artwork adapt to different wall spaces in different locations. The final artwork is adapted across 11 locations in the Boston area.
